Every formula starts not with a trend, but with a question: what does this skin condition actually need at a cellular level? We work directly with cosmetic chemists and dermatologists to identify the actives with the strongest clinical evidence, then build the simplest possible formula around them.
No unnecessary emulsifiers. No fragrance masking a weak formula. No water-forward serums padded with celebrity ingredients at ineffective concentrations. If an ingredient earns a place, it earns a meaningful place.
Botanical, not just botanical-adjacent
The skincare industry has learned to speak fluent plant while delivering synthetic mediocrity with a green label. We take a different approach: botanical sourcing is not a marketing angle — it's an R&D starting point.
Bakuchiol was an obscure Ayurvedic seed extract before peer-reviewed research confirmed its retinol-equivalent efficacy. Centella asiatica has centuries of wound-healing evidence behind it. Snow mushroom tremella predates hyaluronic acid as a hydration ingredient in traditional medicine by a thousand years. We work with what evidence actually supports.
What "fragrance-free" really means
Fragrance is the single most common cause of contact dermatitis from cosmetics. It hides behind 200+ permitted EU ingredient labels, from "parfum" to "linalool" to "limonene". Every product we make is formulated without any fragrant material — synthetic or natural, obvious or hidden.
This is not a commercial compromise. Fragrance doesn't improve any skincare outcome. It improves the perception of a product. We'd rather the skin do the talking.
Sourcing and EU manufacture
All products are manufactured within the European Union under EU Regulation 1223/2009 on cosmetic products. Our manufacturing partners hold ISO 22716 GMP certification. Raw materials are selected for purity, traceability, and supplier transparency.
Squalane is 100% sugarcane-derived (not shark liver oil). Bakuchiol is ethically wild-harvested from certified suppliers. All formulas are vegan — no beeswax, no carmine, no lanolin. Cruelty-free with no animal testing at any stage.
Packaging is designed for recycling: glass bottles, aluminium caps, paper cartons. No mixed-material laminates.
The slow beauty manifesto
Skin doesn't transform overnight. It cycles roughly every 28 days. Meaningful results from actives like niacinamide, bakuchiol, or vitamin C typically require 8–12 weeks of consistent use. We say this openly — not as a disclaimer, but as a promise that we formulate for real, lasting change, not for the before-and-after photograph.
A slow beauty practice means fewer, better products used consistently. It means reading an INCI list. It means not reaching for a new product every time your skin changes season. We'd rather you buy one product that truly works than six that almost do.
